Country Stomp :: Chatsworth

Today was a very beautiful, crisp autumn day. I went to Chatsworth with my mum and brother to explore the Christmas markets. I love the hustle and bustle of these things, feeling the sharp bite of the cold air and warming up with a hot tea and scone. A lovely day - it's got me right in the festive spirit too!

I hope you're in the mood for photos, because I got a bit carried away:

Lamb & mint, enjoyed every bite

It had really brightened up outside when we came to leave. I really love autumn, it's the best season by far!

This poor car had got stuck in the mud!

It's nice to get out into open country space - even if it is so busy with other people that you can't get very far very fast! You can find more information on Chatsworth House here. It's about 15 miles from the Abbeydale Road area, there is a bus that goes directly there I think, but if you're really brave you could walk.

I'd have a go, but in better shoes next time!
