Blog Yorkshire Meet :: Revolutions Leeds

Where to begin?  This meet up was bloody brilliant!  They're getting better and better!  First of all, follow this link to view the new Blog Yorkshire site.  Secondly, a huge thank you to Beauties Unlocked and Music And Eyeliner for organising the event, they did an absolutely fantastic job.  Thirdly, another thank you to the amazing girls at Search Laboratory for their top work as well.  Fourth and lastly, thanks to the brands who came, gave us goodie bags and answered all our beauty related questions.  The whole thing was orchestrated brilliantly and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

CUE PHOTO ESSAY!

We had our own little reserved section in Revolutions on Call Lane, in which there were an array of enticing and aesthetically pleasing arrangements.

I love Country Attire, a brand to watch for sure!

The amazing raffle prizes all lined up

Georgina Grogan of She Might Be Loved doing her thing.

A very English game of croquet

The best thing about blogging for me is that it feels like you're part of a sisterhood.  There's something very empowering about a group of women coming together to share and talk about the things they love just for the sake of it.  Generally, the blogosphere is done by women, for women.  That's special and something to be celebrated.  I'm a big believer that women should build their own things, on their own and together.

It was lovely to meet some new bloggers, put faces to the Twitter handles and catch up with some that I'd already met.  Blog friends!

I'm going to do a separate blog post on the goodie bags, purely because they were so amazing!  See you all at the next Blog Yorkshire meet!
